Where is British Navy Captain Neville Burton… or WHEN is he?

In the Delirium of illness, he is at the Battle of Trafalgar… or is he with the pirates of 1717...or traveling to Jamaica to be married in 1806? Has his ship been captured? Which ship, and captured by whom – pirates or the French?

If his fiancée has been abducted and he’s been sent elsewhere he needs to sort it all out, and quickly.

Dear Readers,

Please accept my invitation to enter the Worlds of Neville Burton via my novels of the Age of Sail.

Through his eyes you may see both the well-travelled and the less-travelled paths of legendary fictional British naval officers of the Napoleonic Wars as he interacts with his French enemies, Jamaican dignitaries, spies, Caribbean pirates and actual historical figures.

Neville Burton did not pop into my mind fully clothed and ready to fight, love and live. He grew, as he will for you, from a boy who goes off to find his way in the Worlds he encounters by way of the Royal Navy. Neither did I know of him or his exploits on the high seas until I had retired and gone to sea myself. Before Neville I was a student, an engineer, a husband and father, a businessman and a small-boat sailor.

When I am home in Nevada, I write of him. When I am afloat, I gather mental images of the coast from offshore, the angle of the wind and the state of the seas, sailing boats, and Central American fisherman whose daily activities have changed little since Neville's time.

Thanks for reading,

                   Georges
